The World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women (originally the World Federation of Methodist Women) connects women from Methodist, United, and Uniting churches around the world. These women are organized into local groups called Units within their countries. Their shared mission is “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known.”

To foster collaboration and information exchange, Units are grouped into nine geographic regions called Areas. Leaders from both the Areas and Units work together on programs, creating a global network for sharing ideas and best practices.

The World Federation is also a NGO Representation at the United Nations, in Special Consultative Status with the ECOSOC since 1983. The Federation is also a member of the Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CONGO)
