Khushnud Azariah

The Life of Rev. Dr. Khushnud Azariah is truely a living example of determination, presevernce and commitment. At a very tender age she displayed unwavering deternmination to go against the tide. In early 1970s when pursusing theological education for women considered as “taboo” in Pakistan. She couragousely challenged the norm and go abroad for study becasue at that time doors of the local theological institutes were shut for girls students. Her actions had paved the way for future generations of women to pursue theological studies and contribute significantly. She established serveral institutes, spearheaded many organization, Champion various campaigns and served in key roles within national and international ecumenical bodies. Her mission? To advance theological education among women, advocate for their acceptance in ordained ministry in the Church of Pakistan & socio-economic development of women.
