Another Resounding Success!
The Ecumenical Forum for Christian Women – Rawalpindi Chapter hold 2nd Christian Women’s Convention on October 24, 2025, at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Cantonment, Rawalpindi. The theme of the convention was: “Steadfast in Faith and Resolute in Action.” The inspiring worship service was led entirely by women.
Ms. Jennifer Jag-Jivan reflected on the biblical examples of women whose steadfast faith moved them to courageous action —
– Shiphrah and Puah, the midwives who protected the life of Moses and preserved the future of Israel’s sons despite Pharaoh’s command;
– Lydia, the pioneering believer who established the first Christian church in Philippi; and
– The Canaanite woman, whose faith-filled dialogue with Jesus brought healing to her daughter.
Together, their stories remind us that women of faith have always been resolute in action and steadfast in their trust in God.
Kudos to our dedicated convention committee for their collaborative efforts. The entire service was led by outstanding Christian women from various denominations, with a notable presence of young women.
The Ecumenical Forum for Christian Women in Pakistan (EFCWP) was formed in 2023. It is a movement, dedicated to work for the Empowerment of Christian women in Pakistan. The Forum brings Christian women of diverse backgrounds to celebrate womanhood and to prayerfully work together for peacebuilding, justice and inclusive Church in Pakistan.
